When did you join the team and how long have you been working for North IT?
Before I came to the company, all testing was proceeded by developers and Stephan himself. Since the number of projects in the IT software development company was growing, they started to search for a tester, who would bring the quality of the IT products to a new level. Back then, the team included 15 people. During the last 2.5 years, I was lucky to grow professionally in an ever-growing collective of North IT.
How do people become testers?
It is a common saying, that the easiest entrance to IT is testing. Anyone who graduates from QA courses can quickly find a position in a software company. But I think personal qualities such as patience and diligence are playing a huge role when it comes to succeeding in QA.
Working from home or at the office?
Mostly at the office. I prefer to work around people, it speeds problem-solving up. It is more fun in the office, and coffee tastes better. But there are some days when a long sleep and quiet in the private room are winning. These days I am staying at home.
Name three things that make your work desk - yours.
The first thing is my shimmering golden mug, which my friend presented to me when I got the job at North IT. So this mug has been accompanying me straight all my IT career. The second thing is my K-Pop postcards. I am a big fan, so these cards cheer me up. And last but not least is a lip balm. I have one stuck in each handbag and coat's pocket, so having one on my desk is obvious.
